On May 13-24, 2019, a 15-member team of pastors and believers leaders accepted the invitation from Pastor John Mulinde, went to a prayer mountain located at the suburban area of Kampala to join a 2019 Trumpet camp. The tour was organised by the King’s Houses International, and is part of the spiritual transformation movement. Everyone in the tour has a heart that is eager to transform their lives and go forward to receive the anointing of transformation.

The camp started on May 19 and we arrived in Uganda earlier to adapt to the local climate and time zone difference. On the first few days, we went to Lake Victoria, which is larger than Hong Kong in size.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that we spent three days visiting the Murchison Falls National Park, tracking crowds of wild animals such as lions, elephants, giraffes, antelopes, hippopotamus, buffaloes, coyotes and crocodiles. On the return journey, we passed the source of the Nile River which was magnificent. We enjoyed the wonderful nature created by our God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back to Kampala, we visited the largest mosque in East Africa, where we walked around and prayed for the city. What impressed us was the visit to the Watato, a village that raises children, we went to a workshop which takes care of women suffering from AIDS, and met a Hong Kong missionary who worked and served in Watoto. We blessed and prayed for her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We saw a local newspaper in Uganda, headlined with Ugandans national leaders praying for Israel, reflecting Uganda really love Israel. In the Trumpet camp, participants pray for the nations in every afternoon sessions. The first city of intercession is Hong Kong. Pastor Daniel Wong lead the team to share the needs of Hong Kong on the stage, and the intercessors from different nations spared no efforts to pray for Hong Kong, it is very touching! A Christian institution from Canada has a cooperative plan with Israel’s Jewish Agency to set up a Jewish return center in Bikat Kinarot Village in the Jordan Valley. The institution invited Pastor John Mulinde from Uganda to set up a prayer alter there. The Kings Houses International is making another tour to visit there from 19th April, 2020 to 1st May, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The message from the camp is exciting! As the first pastor who led Uganda to pray for Israel in the 1960s, Pastor Laban Jjumba encouraged believers to be the modern Joseph, develop a strategy that could transform nations through visions. Pastor Julius Suubi motivates us to immerse ourselves in the Lord’s love and fire. Pastor Pat Francis initiated the inner glory, and continuously declared words from God during the worship. Pastor John Mulinde teaches us how to formulate the kingdom of God, overcome the regional spirit and walk with the nations. Such a fiery camp and praying party inspired and encouraged many people!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most grateful thing throughout the tour was the members experienced breakthroughs and changed in their lives. They loved, cared and encouraged one another with joy, and their relationship has changed from tour groupmates to transformation teammates. We shared our testimonies on the 9th June during a prayer meeting in Tuen Mun in Hong Kong. Together, we used the photos taken during the tour about the wildlife in Uganda to make a calendar with transformation as the theme. We joined the spiritual transformation movement and walked together to transform our life and society. During the journey, I read the book of Job. God speaks to people in trial through the wild and the world of nature. Uganda suffered a lot from violent regimes and AIDS disease. But the Christians there humbled themselves and prayed and sought god’s face through prayer during their sufferings. While they are trying to turn from their wicked ways during the spiritual war, they witnessed healing and salvation by god on their nation. Uganda was transformed from a Muslim country to a country with 80% of the population are Christian. (2 Chronicles 7:14)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nowadays, although Uganda is still poor when compared with Hong Kong, through the enlightenment from Job’s life, Uganda can make people see there is a huge difference between a community who belongs to god and a community who doesn’t. People who doesn’t belong to god have a poor soul, and lives in this world like a beggar. But the Ugandan government and the spiritual people in the churches, know god through their victory against adversity and trials, and established a face-to-face relationship with god and became the royal priesthood. They bring the culture and blessings from the kingdom of god to their community and people who are in need and transformed the society. They cultivate future leaders for the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
